Margery’s Séances begin.

The self-proclaimed mystic (real name Mrs. Mina Crandon) is the wife of a Harvard Medical School lecturer and live at 10 Lime Street. Under her pseudonym, she claims psychic powers that include the ability to telepathically move objects as well as to contact spirits. Although consulted by prominent Bostonians, Margery’s claimed powers prompt doubt and investigated by Harry Houdini and Scientific American magazine. A book concerning Margery and her activities is published in 2015.*
